Corporate partnerships are an important income stream for Richard House and one we aim to develop substantially over the next three years. We have developed a portfolio of successful corporate relationships and are developing a long term strategy to build on this success, focusing on our proximity to the City and Canary Wharf.

This is a really varied, interesting and rewarding role that offers scope for creativity and opportunities to work with some of the most prestigious organisations in the Docklands and the City of London. This role will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Engagement and the corporate team to build upon the new business pipeline and work towards achieving and exceeding the fundraising target. The successful candidate should bring with them fundraising experience and knowledge of the fundraising sector as well as the drive and ambition to increase income for the charity. A sense of humour and a positive ‘can do’ attitude would also be appreciated as the team are fun, hardworking and enjoy working together as a team.

The post-holder’s primary responsibility will be to generate income from developing new corporate partnerships with companies within Canary Wharf, Docklands and The City of London. Applying for charity of the year and building new business contacts for prospective new charity partners. The post-holder will also manage some selected corporate relationships.

The role will involve all aspects of generating new business from both cold and warm leads, developing and building a prospect pipeline of business, researching and contacting new leads, confidence in pitching to become a Richard House charity partner to corporate organisations, development and management of the ongoing business relationship.This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a close- knit team and to take the initiative to deliver the new business strategy and contribute significantly to the income growth for Richard House Children’s Hospice.
