Help make a difference to the lives of children like Hope this Christmas

Here at Richard House, we need to raise 70% of our income or a staggering £2 million pounds from our supporters to keep our services running.

This Christmas can you please help make a difference to the lives of life-limited children, like Hope, by giving a gift of £30 which could help buy a special adaptive toy for a child or £82 which pays for an hour of care for a seriously ill child..

Hope suffers from a rare life-limiting condition called neutropenia. This means she requires constant care and assistance for everyday tasks. Due to sustaining brain damage, she is unable to use one of her hands and requires the assistance of a walking frame to move.

But despite all these difficulties, Hope is a bright, bubbly and cheerful five year-old, who is to turn six at the end of December.

John, grandad of Hope said

It makes me so happy to see how much she is enjoying herself when she is at Richard House. But you see Richard House is also great for me and her grandmother. We look after Hope full-time, and the respite care gives us the chance to have a little break and regain the strength needed to give our most to Hope.

Please help us at Richard House continuing to care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families by making a donation today.
