What a special treet!

Our children, their siblings and families love spending time in our garden. We know how special the garden is to them and wanted to make sure that it remains just as special for generations to come.
A story of 105 trees…
We decided to plant a lot of new trees (105 to be precise!) which would help keep the garden looking as lovely as it does now for years to come. Poor Derek, our volunteer gardener, would have been there for a very long time planting them on his own! So, our wonderful volunteers from AJG stepped in to help. It was hard work, but the team were triumphant and managed to plant all 105 trees!

For us as a team, it was great to come to Richard House. It is such a special place, and we grow fonder of Richard House every time we come here. It’s great to be outside in the sunshine, out of the office, away from the phones and our crazy business world! We enjoyed spending quality time together as a team doing something that we hope will create a legacy for the future. We hope those wonderful 105 trees will give pleasure to children and families for generations to come. It was hard work, but knowing we’re making a difference makes it all feel like an enjoyable and satisfying day’s work!
We are so reliant on our corporate volunteers, like AJG…
…to help keep our hospice grounds looking great, not just for our children and families now but for years to come. Helena Burley, our Head of Corporate Partnerships said:
Thank you so much to AJG and all the wonderful volunteers for all your hard work. We love having you at the hospice! It’s an absolute pleasure and privilege to be in partnership with you.
