Richard House collection service now available also on Saturday mornings

From 23rd April, Richard House Children’s Hospice will be offering free collection service to anyone who has furniture they’d like to donate also on Saturday mornings, apart from the regular collection times during the week.

The Richard House charity shop on Faircross Parade, Londbridge Road in Barking is a popular destination for charity donors and shoppers alike. Parking outside the shop is still very reasonable at just 30p for an hour so it’s easy to donate goods and still have time to browse around this veritable charity emporium.

Veronica Henderson Brown the shop manager said ‘Many of our donors work during the week so it can be difficult to arrange a convenient time for our van crew to view their furniture donation. Now we can offer this service on Saturday mornings I’m sure it will be a popular slot with our furniture donors.’

The charity will still be able to arrange furniture collections during the week on Tuesday’s and Thursdays. Furniture delivery can also be arranged at a fee. Richard House has six charity shops across East London and Essex, with all money raised going directly to the hospiceThese vital funds ensure Richard House is able to provide care year-on-year for children with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.
