Richard House celebrates 10 years of remarkable film making
Published: November 16, 2016
Last weekend we rolled out the red carpet to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Richard House Oscars that took place at the Genesis cinema in East London.
The annual awards ceremony, held every November, was created to showcase the amazing work created by the stars of the Richard House Living Films club.
It’s an opportunity for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions at the hospice and their siblings to premiere films that they have created over the past year.
This year’s theme was “Going to the Movies” and in line with the subject we created a word full of celebrity and glamour, highlighted by a special performance by actor/musician Diane Horan-Hill.
Thanks to the generous support of Genesis cinema for the first time the ceremony took place off the hospice premises, making it more accessible to our friends and supporters.
