Life’s Short

Published: May 21, 2018

Life’s short for all of us. Whether it’s hanging out with family or lying in the sun, we all want to do what we love most and make the most of every minute. For children with life-limiting conditions and their families, ‘Life’s Short’ has a poignant meaning: they simply don’t have time to waste.

This Children’s Hospice Week (21st to 27th May), we’re joining Together for Short Lives to raise awareness with this inspirational video. It shows what seriously ill children and their siblings love most in life…

We need your help: tell us what you love most in life.

We want to make some noise on social media, but can’t do this without you. So whether it’s your family, your pet, a hobby, your favourite food or something completely bizarre, we want to know about your favourite thing. Please take a moment to share your pictures or videos using #LifesShort. And don’t forget to ask your friends and family to do the same!

What you will help us to achieve

  • Awareness of families who need help and support from a children’s hospice
  • Show that hospices are a place where families can enjoy life together, children can live life to the fullest and create positive memories

So remember to use #LifesShort…

…and share what you love most to make a difference this Children’s Hospice Week.
