Last Woman Standing charity event

Last weekend, a keen Richard House supporter Serena Woon of London City Airport, raised a fantastic £500 for Richard House by organising a “Last Woman Standing” fitness challenge.
“Last Woman Standing” was a women only fitness event, which took place in the Fitness Rooms in Benfleet Essex. The aim of the challenge was to make it through as many sessions as possible over a 6 hour period. These sessions included ‘Clubbercise’, ‘Twerkfit’ and ‘Yoga’ and were attended by employees and friends of London City Airport.
“The ‘Last Woman Standing’ charity event was fabulous and totally knackering…but so worth it, so far we have raised just over £500 for Richards House Children’s Hospice, thank you to all the ladies that came along!” says event organiser Serena.
Tom Murtagh, Richard House Community & Events Fundraiser adds, “A huge thank you to Serena for her hard work in organising this fantastic event and a big well done to all the ladies who took part! The support we get from individuals like Serena and her group is vital in ensuring we can continue to provide our services to the children and families who attend Richard House.”
