Thirteen staff and clients from Prestons Chartered Accountants have raised over £5,000 taking on the Bupa 10k for Richard House on Monday.
It was the third time in a row staff from the Ilford-based firm have run the race for the hospice, having raised £11,000 over the previous two years.
Anver Patel, one of the directors at Prestons, said: “We had a great day out with plenty of support on the day for Team Prestons. We were all motivated to complete the race knowing that every penny we raise is going to a great local charity. We continue to support Richard House due to the amazing work they do with terminally ill children and their families.
“The team has been inspired by the fantastic donations received this year and are already planning for next year’s race and to raise funds for Richard House.”
The Prestons runners finished between 43mins and 66mins.
Rachel Green, community and events fundraiser at the hospice, said: “Prestons have done an amazing job once again with their Bupa 10k fundraising for the hospice. It’s been a great team effort from them and the money they raised will make a real difference to children and families at Richard House.”
