Free water hygiene risk assessments for Richard House shops

Following a recommendation by an established supporter Danial Hannabuss of ENGIE (Cofely), Integrated Water Services have kindly offered to conduct water hygiene risk assessments, for all of Richard House charity shops, completely free of charge.

Sarah Harrison, from Integrated Water Services explained that the charity has been very close to her heart following a recent loss a close friend had suffered so Sarah and the team were only too happy to help out.

Louise Hamilton, Head of Retail for Richard House said “This was a new area for me so I was very grateful to have such experts on hand. The reports were very comprehensive and provided very clear guidance on how to improve our risk management at our properties. Sarah was great too, providing further guidance and support where required.”

Running a chain of charity shops with all the associated property maintenance can be costly but thanks to the support of companies like Integrated Water Services and ENGIE (Cofely), Richard House is able to keep essential maintenance expenditure on property to a minimum.

All the profit made from the six charity shops goes directly to Richard House Children’s Hospice and helps finance the specialist palliative care provided to families across East London with children and young adults that have life limiting conditions.
