For five days over the past fortnight, siblings from the Richard House sibling group have been taking part in ‘Dance is Me’, a creative collaborative project involving Rambert, Britain’s national dance company.

The five day dance and film project at the Rambert studios in South Bank allowed siblings of hospice service users to explore their creativity and expressions of what dance made to them.

The project is part of a larger programme over the past year where Richard House and Rambert have provided opportunities for families to experience the expertise of the renowned dance company to create memories in a fun and exciting environment.

Lance Balynas, one of the siblings to take part in the project said: “I really enjoyed it and would do it again in a heartbeat. Dance is a way of expressing my feelings.”

The project, which also involved Iconic Steps, was generously supported by The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts.
