Dance experts Rambert provide special workshop
Published: February 16, 2015
Experts from Britain’s national dance company Rambert provided a day of dance themed creativity for Richard House families at the weekend.
Tying in with the dance company’s recent production of Atomos at Saddler’s Wells, the family activities were full of energy. Children made Valentine’s day cards, danced with heart balloons and special dance elastic as part of a workshop. They also enjoyed a music session, with children even leading some of the conducting.
Faith Idahosa, who attended the day with her children, said: “It was great. I wanted to come together and meet people who give their time to make families comfortable and happy.”
“I just want to say thanks to Rambert and their followers for making music a healing process for families with challenging children and their siblings.”
