Children’s Hospice Week 2015
Published: May 11, 2015
Children’s Hospice Week, the UK’s only awareness raising and fundraising week for children with life-limiting conditions and the services, like children’s hospices, that support them, has now started!
The week, which runs from 11-17 May, is organised by Together for Short Lives and this year the theme is: Making every moment count focussing on how precious time is for families by capturing moments in time. For families this means showing what real life is like – the positive moments and the more difficult times; and for services it means showcasing the wide range of support that helps families make the most of every moment.
We are encouraging you to share your special memories of Richard House on our Memory Tree in daycare, and tweet them @richardhousech using the hashtag #momentscount. You can also find out on our Youtube channel what some of the children and young adults favourite memories at the hospice are, as well as those of staff and families and our founder and life president Anthea Hare.
