Boss in the Box: Clifford Change fundraising for Richard House

Richard House Children’s Hospice has challenged a group from law firm Clifford Chance, including Global Managing Partner Matthew Layton, to take part in the “Boss in the Box” charity event on 2nd March – where several individuals were confined in a perspex box, for a short period of time, in support of Richard House. The objective was to raise funds and awareness for the hospice, which Clifford Chance has supported since 2000.

“We are delighted that Matthew Layton and the team at Clifford Chance have shown support for the ‘Boss in the Box’ concept. Clifford Chance is such a faithful and committed advocate of our charity and this event is a fun way for them to help us fund the serious and important work that we do for children, young people and their families” Peter Ellis, CEO of Richard House Children’s Hospice

Michael Crossan, partner at Clifford Chance comments, “We are proud to have a longstanding relationship with Richard House since our move to Canary Wharf and the firm is both delighted and excited to be fundraising for them with ‘Boss in the Box’. Richard House is an excellent organisation, providing vital care and support during difficult times. Whilst we funded the development of the box for this event primarily, importantly it can be used for future ones with other corporate supporters too. We hope our contribution and support will enable Richard House to continue its great work.”
