Tom cycles 120 miles in aid of Richard House

A keen Richard House supporter, Tom, cycled alone and unsupported from his home in North London to the center of Cambridge and back again, to raise funds for Richard House. Together he cycled 120 miles with 5,500 feet of hills to climb and managed to raise over £940 that will be used to support the children and families in Richard House care.

Tom says “I’m so pleased to have been able to put my bike to such a good use for an amazing cause and am incredibly grateful for all the support and sponsorship I’ve received.”

When asked how he managed to complete the route in just one day he explained “To avoid morning traffic I set off at 6am and arrived in Cambridge in just over three hours. I refuelled at a cafe (coffee, porridge, eggs on toast and more coffee) and headed back to London through gritted teeth and against a horrible headwind. I completed the challenge in just under seven and a half hours.”
