Senior Play and Care Worker
I am a mother of two boys aged three and one, so I am very busy when I am not at work keeping them entertained and doing activities with them. They are my pride and joy love them both to bits.
I became a play and care worker because I love working with children and it is great to work with children that appreciate everything you do for them, and seeing their smiles and them happy really makes you feel good. The best thing about this job is that every day you come in it is different, no day is the same. The atmosphere here there is never a dull day at Richard House, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, maybe that why I have been here for 10 years and still going.
I think respite palliative care at Richard House makes a huge difference to families, to be able to go on holidays or even just have a break makes a big difference in their lives, and it is wonderful to be able to do that for them.
