Leave a legacy of love by choosing Richard House.

We’ve partnered with Octopus Legacy to offer a completely FREE will-writing service. Meaning you can leave a lasting impact on the lives of children and families facing life-limiting health conditions, ensuring that the spirit of compassion lives on.

Leave a gift in your will.

Remembering Richard House Children’s Hospice in your Will is a wonderful way to help the children and families we care for in the future make the most of every day.  Including a gift to the hospice you could help us fill Richard House with laughter and light in the years to come, helping families in the future do things they never thought possible.

Do I need to leave a large gift?

No. We would be delighted to receive a gift of any size. Even just 1% of your estate would make a huge difference to the babies, children and young people we care for in the future and leave 99% of your estate left over for your loved ones. Every penny of your gift – large or small – will help families with seriously ill children.

Do I have to tell you about my gift?

Choosing to remember a charity in your Will is an intensely personal decision and you are under no obligation to let any of your beneficiaries know of your intentions. However, we would be thrilled if you did choose to inform us. Informing us helps us know that in the future our work will be supported by important legacy gifts. It would also be our pleasure to invite you to Richard House to see our work in action.

Do you have a Will writing service?

It is recommended that you use a solicitor to make a will or make a change your will. At Richard House our supporters can use our Free Wills Service, which will give you the names of two solicitors near to your home, who will help you make your will for free.
