We are currently looking for a volunteer receptionist to join the Richard House facilities team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain experience in reception and administration as the right candidate will have the opportunity to work at the busy front desk at the very heart of the hospice. The role will involve answering calls, receiving visitors, dealing with general enquiries, data entry as well resources administration.
What skills do I need?
The ideal candidate would be polite and respectful, have a good telephone manner and good communication skills, would enjoy working individually as well as part of a team, would be attentive and reliable and understand the importance of confidentiality in a hospice environment.
How much time will it take?
We ask a minimum of four hours a week, between 8.30am and 5pm.
