What’s the role?
We are looking for a volunteer receptionist to:
- Greet and assist our visitors
- Answer telephone calls
- Deal with incoming and outgoing mail
- Count money raised through our collection tins
- Accept donations for our hospice and shops
- Carry out admin tasks
- Assist at family events
What skills do I need?
You will be confident and reliable. You will have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner, and be polite and friendly. We are looking for someone who is able to work as part of a team, is attentive and willing to help.
How much time will it take?
We ask a minimum of four hours between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. This role is for weekdays only.
