Family Hub

Welcome to our family hub. This is an area for families who use our services to find out what’s been happening and what’s coming up at Richard House.

New and exciting activities from STaR team…….

Over the summer children and families at Richard House had the opportunity to go on trips including visits to Brighton, Paradise Wildlife Park and London Zoo. The siblings had fun too, with a trip for the younger ones to Kidzania and the older ones to Harry Potter World.

Family days and activities kept the summer buzzing starting with the circus coming to teach our children some plate spinning and juggling skills. Eid was celebrated with a family party with music and dancing straight from Bollywood. We had some interesting visitors from Zoolab, as well as arts, a disco and a ballet workshop. The fun was completed by our summer production of ‘We’re going on a friend hunt…’

With the children back at school, we ran a mums’ pamper day. One mum said, “I love the support I get from the mums’ group. I can relax and be myself, there is no judgement, and people lift you up.”

Thank you to everyone who helped make summer such fun!
